Back to the film, it is about a little boy’s early defeat which had led him to be ferociously vengeful in later life. He vowed never to be defeated in a fight on the very stage he lost to a cocky bully. Anyone who crosses his path were met with the same fate, brutally and senselessly knocked out, or wiped out. He was fearless and was feared. He was the undefeated fighter blinded by the quest to win. He sacrificed true friendships, lost all his family members, self respect and made many enemies to fulfill an ego fuelled by arrogance and the greed to win. Most of all, he lost sight and moral judgement.

“My child, being feared and being respected are two very different things, it is not all about winning. Learn the meaning of discipline and integrity”, his mother reminded him as a child.

Fast forwarding… His road to self-healing and regaining the meaning of life came when he was saved by a kind hearted blind girl whose deep compassion led him back to understanding that in life, the true meaning of contentment and seeing beyond selfish needs is to apply knowledge, compassion and skills to heal, help and inspire… guided by a conscientious moral compass. Fight only when you need to defend your integrity and honour, not as an excuse to display arrogance. Intimidation is a weak man’s weapon.

He went on a journey to inspired his fellow man to use unity to stand strong, to cooperate and motivate. From tea drinking, calligraphy and padi planting to clever quotes, Fearless is laced with clever lessons we could all pick from – a really a good watch.

I am ever so excited to help my dear friend Angie on her new venture as a Couture Cake Designer and she will be setting up this business really soon. Angie was an ex-classmate of mine back in high school and we hooked up again in Birmingham and it was just sheer pleasure – lovely, genuine, sincere and what I like really about Angie is her conscientious approach to what life throws at her. We had many things in common and often, our coffee or lunches would last for hours and we never run out of things to say.

Coming back to her little venture, she’s been a disciple/apprentice of the reputable cake designers Peggy Porchen and Mitch Turner. Angie had seen the cards I made when I first posted on Facebook and immediately embarked me on getting her brand conceptualised. She basically allowed me to work my ‘magic’ as she says on her brand and I’d like to share this with you too.

We both decided to go with one that diecuts the logo stamp around the business card and very happy with the decision.

Good morning to a very Royal Wedding Day! Extremely excited for Kate and Wills and I am sure most of us are, though building up to the event, the massive dose of coverage probably did our heads in at some point but today we celebrate the occasion genuinely and very happily and it is not only a union of a beautiful couple but of a nation shared with the world. I love it!

This marks another great celebration of British pompousness, tradition, culture in a very modern and global context and following. I remembered as a little girl watching the grand wedding of Wills’ mother, Princess Diana and Prince Charles back in 1981 not in HD of course, but just about a fat colour tv back then. The family gathering comprising my parents, little brother, my grandparents and my two aunts excitedly glued to the tv from a live telecast from a faraway land we all adore. Today I am tweeting and facebooking with friends and family sharing this occasion on this very land.

Okie, the excitement is building up, I should really get back to the telly. Cheers to the beautiful couple again ♥
